I managed to stay up long enough to enjoy Easter Sunday with family, watch James enjoy his first real egg hunt at the Burrow(we weren't quite toddling by this point last year), and then curl up for a long nap before dinner at home. A lovely way to end a fantastic weekend.

I've never much cared for Rancy Jones, but if he thinks my potential has been squandered on motherhood, he's sorely mistaken. Witches are more than capable of being both mothers and hard workers. I wouldn't trade my boys for anything.

[Harry]
First, we need to celebrate. Many many times over, at that.

Second, looks like we're in for a busy summer--so much for time off. But it'll be worth it. First game for England is scheduled at Queerditch. It feels a little unbelievable still. Ever since we went to the World Cup back in school, I've wanted to play in a stadium like that.

Breakfast almost-in-bed was lovely on Sunday, even if I spoiled the surprise by waking up early. Frog in a hole and eggs on the floor, bacon, and potatoes. My boys are too sweet to me. Albus even managed an extra long nap, and Harry and I managed an outing to look into an investment. A very good day all around.

My, I'm glad that my husband doesn't live in an alternative universe. That would mean I'd have to share. I rather like having him all to myself.

In other news, I've got a fantastic amount of training to be had at work, and a ridiculous amount of things to do at home and not enough time to spend with my three men; but despite the hustle and bustle, I don't think I would trade it all in.

[Harry]

LAST. BOX. PACKED! Am I allowed to say how glad I am that we're at this point? Everything is labeled, everything is ready to go; which includes all of our pots and pans, unfortunately. Would we be able to swing a celebratory meal out?

Ginny Potter is back and better than ever! And my boys were such good cheerleaders, of course. I'm so relieved to have this first game back out of the way, things are certainly looking up. The Arrows don't stand a chance!

I had so much fun the other day, Hannah and Neville. We should definitely try and do something together again soon!

I'd love to see the sources that Witch Weekly comes up with. I don't think I've been out with Albus and James more than once or twice this week. And for the record, the only one having issues with Albus's new name is James--bit of a pronunciation issue and the fact that he's only 17 months old.

As for the nundu attacks, I can't even imagine...so much loss with a creature that's not even truly attacking its victims.

As much as my brothers seem to think my son gets his striking good looks from the Weasley side, and I'll admit there's a lot of that there...nothing beats Albus's gorgeous green eyes. I'm just grateful that he didn't get your nose, Ron. Or Charlie's large ears. Still on the fence about George's impish grin, though there's plenty of time for that to develop. And we can only hope that he inherits the Weasley hair gene possessed by Bill because we'd all love to see mum henpeck another generation of Weasleys!

Introducing... )

I'm happy to report that my second son is officially here; healthy and happy. I could just hold him forever. Of course, that would be if James would let me. He's been babbling all morning, making sure to throw a 'bay' in there every now and again so we still know what he's talking about. So lots of time looking at Albus and having to remind James that we have to be gentle.

I have a feeling that this little one is going to be a night owl, unlike his brother...up all night already and he's not even a day old yet.

I believe this is the first time in a long time that there's been absolutely no mention of Harry or myself in the Weekly. Interesting...

In other news, I feel like this child is coming any day now. Or he better be, at least. Between the back pain and false labor, I'm ready. Until then, I've got a load of press releases to write in regards to co-workers and not much energy or desire to do it.

Nov. 3rd, 2011

Utter-- Well, I'm glad that my co-workers have managed to steer clear of the spotlight of Witch Weekly. Makes my job easier to not clean up a relations mess after them. Then again, given the news source, I doubt there would be much mess to clean up. It's not exactly a reputable publication.

[Harry]
I hope you weren't looking forward to reading their latest edition of ridiculousness. I may have chucked it in the fire after flipping through and seeing that ridiculous advert. Honestly, if it weren't for keeping an eye on the girls and their extracurricular fiascos activities, I would just cancel my subscription.

Good news, though, I talked with mum and she said that she'd love to watch James for us. And that we should know that she never minds spending time with him. So, I guess now all we need to do is figure out a good day between the two of us?

Oct. 16th, 2011

I think I'm catching the hang of this knitting by hand thing. All the extra time has really given me a chance to practice, but I'm so glad to be home from the hospital. The rash is going down which is great, I'm anxious to have things back to normal.

The news in the Prophet is absolute rubbish. Fighting alongside Neville during our years at Hogwarts, I know that it's rubbish. Anyone who was at school that year would be absolutely mad to believe otherwise.

[Ron]
You were there? What happened? It's absolutely--there's no way anyone can believe that, right?

Oct. 7th, 2011

Oh--bloody hell.

I was in the middle of some paperwork that needed to be owled in today about some of the players on the Harpies and I have no idea how have spilled something and completely ruined them.

[Harry]
I feel awful. Getting the chills and a general feeling like my head is about to explode. I don't remember this being a normal part of pregnancy.

Please tell me I'm not coming down with something...I don't want to go to Mungo's I don't think I can handle the ridiculous amount of smug attitude from Parkinson that will no doubt come my way if I come down with something.

This--knitting by hand thing is absolute rubbish. At least with the charms I know exactly what's gone wrong and how to fix it. But with this? I've got these huge gaping holes in the middle of this sweater and it needs to be ready by December. And then there are these terrible parts where it goes from super baggy to ridiculously tight stitches and--I didn't think I'd done that intentionally. How do muggles do this?

[George]
We should have lunch sometime soon. I need a trustworthy outside party to discuss something with, and I know how much James loves to see you. And I've missed you lately. Also, if you say no, I will pout and possibly pull mean mean pranks on you come holidays at the Burrow.
